Ingredients

3 egg whites
3 slices uncooked bacon , chopped
1 ¹⁄₂ cups shredded Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped green peppers
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
¹⁄₂ teaspoon salt
¹⁄₈ teaspoon pepper
20-24 slices party rye bread

Instructions

Beat egg whites until stiff peak form. Fold in next 6 ingredients. Spread about 1-tablespoon mixture on each bread slice. Place on baking sheet and broil 4 to 5 inches from heat about 5 minutes or until bacon cooks. Serve immediately.
