Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Casserole

41

For most of us in North Carolina, a traditional Thanksgiving is all about the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie. Family members get up bright and early to spend all day in the kitchen preparing these dishes for a bountiful feast.  There are also many people who spend Thanksgiving Day traveling to visit their loved ones and may not get the chance to prepare an elaborate or time consuming dish that day.

A great recipe for all of the travelers out there, or simply anyone looking for a quick Thanksgiving dish, is the Overnight Casserole. Casseroles are great because they bring together combinations of your favorite ingredients into one, simple dish with minimal cooking time. This recipe gives you the option to customize your ingredients, store in the fridge overnight and throw in the oven for 35-45 minutes before it’s ready to be devoured. Packed with your choice of meat, vegetables, and cheese, this dish is sure to please!

Hope you all have an egg-celent Thanksgiving!
