Happy National Pie Day!

42

As Americans, pie holds a special place in our hearts (as well as that special place we like to call our “dessert stomach.”) It’s a National holiday for peat’s sake! From cherry pie to sweet potato pie, we bake it, eat it, dream about it and even have famous songs about it. Heck, we’ll even have a slice of humble pie once in a while.

Although the kid’s don’t get a day off from school to celebrate, today is a great excuse to get in the kitchen with your family and friends and bake up a storm! Plus, you’ll have the whole weekend to enjoy your sweet creations.

Here are some great pie recipe ideas to get your party started!
