Happy National Puzzle Day!

Although you may not know, National Puzzle Day is celebrated every year on January 29th. Puzzles are popular worldwide and come in many different forms such as jigsaw, Sudoku, and crossword, all ranging from easy to difficult. No matter which kind you choose, puzzles are a great way to have fun while stimulating your brain at the same time!

Ready to plan the perfect puzzle day? Here are some great ways you can celebrate!

1. Make this delicious Egg, Sausage & Cheese Puzzle Sandwich.

This fun and easy sandwich is perfect for the kids to make for either breakfast or lunch! Use any desired cookie cutter to create the center piece, then cut remaining outside pieces to fit. Filled with protein, it will keep them full and their mind’s sharp!

2. Create your own puzzle.

Head over to your local craft supply store and pick up a blank, white puzzle in however many pieces you prefer. Then let the kids go to town and decorate it with paint, crayons, markers, etc. Break the puzzle apart and let them put it back together again!

Or, if you want to skip the mess, you can head over to http://www.createjigsawpuzzles.com/ to order a custom picture puzzle from any picture you like!

3. Create a puzzle scavenger hunt.

Get the kids active and make a puzzle themed scavenger hunt around the house or outside. Click the link below to learn how!
