What does the way you cook an egg say about your personality?

Maya Angelou stated that “you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.” Many people would agree with this statement, but Ms. Angelou forgot to mention another way you can tell a lot about someone: how they prepare their eggs.

Not as many people would agree with that statement as they would the first; however, when it comes down to the nitty gritty, everyone has a favorite way to cook eggs. Think about it: if you were stranded on a deserted island with only eggs and one way to cook them for the rest of ever, there would be one way you would pick. So what does the way you cook eggs say about your personality?

Poached

You are a mystery and everyone wants to watch and see just what you do next. You tend to be a trendsetter with your creativity, and everyone wants to be your friend. Being a free spirit, however, you fear commitment and just want to live life day-to-day.

Over-easy

You are a delicate soul. You’ve seen the vicissitudes of life, and you need the love, support and comfort of your friends and family to get through life. You enjoy the slow life of the country, and nothing makes you warm-up on the inside than the simple things in life like a nice cup of coffee or sitting in front of a fire.

Omelette

A natural born leader, you bring people together. You have multiple groups of friends who all have different reasons you bonded with them. You, as a person, are a little bit more complicated, but you have ample patience to make sure your team (and the different flavors of your team) gets along well.

Hard Boiled

You are a hard worker. You will always get the job done in a very productive, analytical, way. You set multiple goals for yourself, and push yourself very hard, so sometimes your friends and family worry you are not enjoying life to the fullest; however, they do not realize you thrive on staying busy.

Sunny-side up

You are a sensitive person. You will spill your thoughts and feelings to just about anyone at any moment in time. Sometimes, people are not a fan of your bluntness, but the people who appreciate how laid back you are and your ability to be direct and open with them will never stray from your side.

Scrambled

You are a reliable person. You want to make sure everyone is included, and while you may not be the life of the party, you are always there enjoying yourself. Some people may find your predictability comforting while others find it boring at times, but people always like you for simply you.

Baked

You can be very shy, and in social events you always need a best friend (or two) to accompany you anywhere. You have a small comfort zone that you like to stick too and you take strong stances on matters. You do not trust many people, but when you do, you form lifelong friendships.

Raw

You are pretty hardcore. You are the athlete waking up at 5am in the middle of winter to complete a 15 mile run that will push you towards your next fitness goal. But that’s not it–between all the things you do, you rarely crack under pressure or from stress, but when you do, it tends to be a big mess.
